MarionHi Barbara, wow, cannot believe this is the 5th Memorial Benefit already. Not sure what makes time fly. Wishing you the very best and I am sure this one like all the rest will make new results to break the other records. So much good luck to you and can’t wait to hear this year’s results.
The 5th Annual Cholangiocarcinoma Memorial Benefit in memory of Jacques Dupont and others, will take place on Friday, November 18, 2016 at The Atkinson Resort and Country Club in the Legacy Ballroom from 6:30 – 11:00 pm. Our theme is “SHOPPING FOR A CURE”. This year we are very fortunate to have Agios in Cambridge, Massachusetts as our lead sponsor. To honor Jacques and others, we continue to host this Benefit to raise awareness, fund research and clinical trials, and advance therapies for prolonging life for this horrific, rare cancer. All proceeds will go to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
The evening will feature a Vegetable display – Cheese/Cracker/Fruit displays – Pasta Stations, Parmesan Cheese and Garlic Toast, Caesar Salad. There will be a special gift bag of sweets for each guest to take home, courtesy of Lindt Chocolates. Tickets are only $25 per person. This year we are able to reserve tables of 12 (you must purchase 12 tickets) there will also be plenty of seating for everyone. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR! There will be a Live Auction with Art McLean as our auctioneer, as well as our Silent Auction – Music by Get Down Tonight’s Billy Rears – Dance Floor – Cash Bar and much more. This is a perfect time to start a little holiday shopping for a Great Cause……All in the name of love, for the love of my life, my Jacques.
Items for last years Benefit included: local chefs preparing meals in the winning bidders home, dinner once a month for a year at local restaurants, South African Safari package, gift certificates to local restaurants, stores, florists, spas, tickets to shows & sporting venues, local attractions, toys, tools, vacation packages, handcrafted items, sporting goods, electronics, theme baskets and much more.If you would like to attend or off you would like to donate an item for the Silent or Live Auctions, please contact Barbara via email at barbara.dupont@cholangiocarcinoma.org, .This is going to be a sold out event.
