Barbara…..this is becoming a yearly New Hampshire event. I am amazed and utterly pleased at the notoriety you have achieved and know that Jacques would be so very proud of you.

    Barbara,

That all sounds lovely. Thanks for all your efforts to raise awareness of this rare cancer in memory of your dear Jacques. I know he will be with you in spirit as will all of us on this board. Looking forward to the pictures and hearing all about the event. I know it will again be a great success and exceed your expectations.

    Hugs,
    Darla

    Thank you, Lainy,
Yes, there will be pictures this year – I promise. I wish all of you from the Discussion Board could be there – I know you will be in spirit. Yes, there is a very handsome man smiling down on me – that I know for sure – it is the Love of my Life – my Jacques.
Hugs and Love from New Hampshire,
    Barbara

Barbara, indeed you are really exceeding this year with excitement and prizes! WOW. I have no doubt the Event will be very successful. Perhaps this year after the event you can post some pictures for us who can only dream of attending. Thanks for your update, and I just know there is a very handsome man grinning from ear to ear, from his location at you.

Here is an update on the 4th Annual Cholangiocarcinoma Memorial Benefit, which will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at The Atkinson Resort and Country Club, Atkinson, NH in the Legacy Ballroom from 7:00 – 11:00 pm. This years theme is “SHOPPING FOR A CURE”.
This event is shaping up to be spectacular – it is exceeding my expectations for sure (and for those of you who know me – my expectations are always high). I am overwhelmed at the generosity and support of my community, family, and friends. One of my favorite quotes, is so very true: “Alone we do so little; together we can do so much” by Hellen Keller.
I’ve posted this before – but it bears repeating – As Jacques wife, I will never stop using my voice and energy to raise awareness for this rare cancer, all in loving memory of the love of my life. Everyone’s life has been affected by cancer in one way or another, I hope one day to look up the word ’cancer’ in the dictionary and for the definition to read; “Cancer-ONCE a deadly disease.”
    Here is the update:
We are honored to have Matt Frahm, Nascar Nationwide Series Driver, who will greet guests in the parking lot with one of his race cars and be signing autographs – from 7 – 8.

Here are the Live Auction items (this is new for us this year)
South Africa Zulu Nyala 6 days/nights Safari
NH Motor Speedway – 4 Tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Series
Race of your Choice in 2016
LaCarreta, Derry Dinner for 2 Once a Month for a Year
LaCarreta, Derry Grilled Fajita Bar for 30 – Pick-up only
Disney World – 4 One day Park Hopper Passes
    Weekend Driving Experience
Cigar Tasting for 8 @ Twins Smoke Shop

Silent Auction: Over 30 gift cards to Restaurants, Salons, Nail Spas etc. We also have over 70 other items.

The evening will an fun night out with dinner, dancing, a wine raffle and more, all for an incredible cause. You can email me at barbara.dupont@cholangiocarcinoma.org if you have questions or would like more information about this amazing Benefit.
    Hugs from New Hampshire,
    Barbara
