Tommy was a kind, gentle, loving Husband, Father, Brother and Friend. He was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma on October 6, 2009 and lost his battle only six short weeks later on November 19, 2009. He served 2 tours in Vietnam and later retired as the Fire Chief at Aberdeen Fire Department in North Carolina. Being in the Fire Service all those years, Tommy had a heart of gold and was always willing to offer help to others. He was a geat listener to anyone who needed an ear and offered great advice which in MOST cases was right. Tommy is loved and missed by many. It is my prayer that someday a cure for this horrible cancer will be discovered. To all CC patients and caregivers, you are in my prayers everyday. To Tommy, I love you and miss you more and more everyday.
