Want to do a Fundraiser

Hi All,

I want to do a fundraiser but honestly have no idea where to even start. Anyone have any suggestions? Also anyone else in NY that would want to help with the fundraiser??

Thanks,
Angela

Re: Want to do a Fundraiser

Angela,

Did you ever get any info on this? I am interested in doing a golf tournament.  I think that should be pretty easy to set up, but we're not sure what to do with the money.  We want to make sure that it goes directly to cholangio research.

Thanks,

Brian

Re: Want to do a Fundraiser

Brian and Angela....thanks for your great idea.  It comes at the perfect time.  The Cholangiocarcinoma, in cooperation with the National Cancer Institute, will be offering a grant for research on Cholangiocarcinoma by the end of this year.  More information will be posted within the next few days.
I also wanted to mention something you might not be aware of.  The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation is staffed by volunteers only.  The work we do truly is an act of love solely. focused on helping patients touched by this disease.  Unlike many other Foundations salaries are not paid to any of us.   Our ultimate goal is to help researchers find a cure for this disease.
You might want to send an e-mail to Stacie regarding your great thought of a fundraiser.  She will be happy to help you.
Best,
Marion
