    This new webpage explains the changes to NCI clinical trials systems. These changes have a direct effect on patient participation in research studies. It describes the need for a more responsive, efficient, and collaborative system; how changing science requires changes to the clinical trials structure; the new NCTN structure; the budget; and additional support items. In addition, the page includes graphics of the former Cooperative Group structure, the new NCTN structure, and a funding comparison.

    Note the comments re: molecular testing and how it changes the landscape of targeted therapies.
