Great to see you on here again! Yes, no doubt it has been a very busy week for you all to say the least! It sounds like things are going really well for Kenny right now and you know I am hoping that that to continue of course! So glad to hear that you got to meet Cathy as well! Please remember to keep us updated on how things go.

Brenda, it is so good to see your happy smiling face and no apologies needed as we know how busy you must be. Just wanted to say hi and that we have been thinking about you and Kenny. May the good news continue and wishing a swift and good recovery. Again, YIPPEE!
Brenda….thank you for reporting in. I can just imagine how busy you all are, but it is fantastic to know that all are at home again and that Kenny is recovering well. May each day be better than the last.

MarionThanks for posting that Cathy!! It has been a busy 1 week at home. We are so glad that we gave it another try and made this appt with Dr Chapman and the whole team, It trully is a group thing, so many involved and all so wonderful and caring about the patient ! We have so much to be thankful for today. Things are going right along for Kenny. His color was noticable right after the transplant and he looked so good ! This is one happy family here. Like I said it has been a busy time around here and I sure am showing my age plus! haha
Dr Chapmen said that he is doing good and that he will start to reduce the dose of some of his imune-suppressants, those can cause headaches.
Cathy came to visit us at our motel room and it was sure nice to meet her, just as I knew she would be. We have her to thank for her posting about transplants. I know that not all of could benifit from a new liver but you never know untill you inquire about it with a qualified Dr such as Dr Chapman.I will always be grateful.

Thanks Cathy and a huge YIPPEE for Kenny and Brenda! Such good news and Cathy just keep the posts going about Dr. Chapman! Hope for Kenny to have a fantastic recovery and sounds like he is on his way! Dontcha just LOVE it. HOPE & Miracles!

DarlaHi, Brenda also know as “Brenda on the farm” asked me to tell our CC family that 2 weeks ago Friday her husband received the gift of life, a new liver!! Kenny is cancer FREE!!!
Kenny is doing great and is out of hospital and staying local for the next week to be monitored, till he can be discharged and return home.
I was so excited Brenda asked me post this because you all know how passionate I am about transplant being an option for more of our CC family!!
Lots of prayers for Kenny, his donor family and Dr. Chapman to be able to bring HOPE to mor of our CC family.
