Very sad indeed and I too feel that it is best to have everyone that you want involved with everything, as long as you do it on your own terms, visits, info etc. Couldn’t imagine my dad trying to hide anything or keep stuff from us. Wouldn’t have worked with him anyway as I was at every docs, hosp app with him anyway. Not good doing stuff on your own really, unless you have no choice.

    Hugs,

    Gavin

Oh My. To this day I am so relieved that Teddy and I did it together and were in total agreement. Everyone knew everything from the beginning and I sent out group emails every night which brought all up to date as you all know things can change by the hour. Everyone had their final visits and their own time with Teddy. Somehow I feel the more you know the better you take the end of the awful journey. He even gave all the children what he wanted like his golf clubs and etc. He felt so good about that. I am glad I did not get any phone calls asking about how he was doing as everyone knew. What a sad story, Gavin.

Wow…that was so sad….I couldn’t imagine not telling my family. I need their support and I know they treasure our moments together more now because of our journey, I sure do! Thanks for sharing!
