    Thanks, Lourdes. Kathy, our new Director of Development and Marketing, who already you are working with on another project, is familiar with this organization, but was happy that you pointed it out to us. It prompted her to reconnect with their staff.

    Those of us working in the background of this foundation so much appreciate everyone’s suggestions in this thread. Much of what has allowed us to grow is due to the input of our fantastic members.

    Hello, Lourdes! So good to hear from you! Sounds like a nice idea, we will see what the powers that be, say. I know we are getting out there but my dream has always been for some celebrity to latch on to us. I still wear my CC Bracelet and even have a pair of summer pants that very shade of green. Again so good to see your smiling “face”!

    Many thanks for that idea of yours! I have passed this idea on to Donna and Marion and will see what they think of it.

    I have never heard of Alex and Dani, maybe that is because I am in Scotland! Anyone else heard of them or got any thoughts on this? Sounds like a great idea to me Lourdes, thanks!!

    Hello again –
    It’s been a long time since I come to the discussion boards, but I had a suggestion that maybe someone from the organization may want to try, unless it has already been done.

    I’m not sure how many of you know about the Alex and Ani bracelets (I only found out about them as they were a gift to me). What I learned today was that this company supports certain charities and gives a percentage of sales of certain bracelets to designated charities. I saw that they have a form to begin the request process: http://www.alexandani.com/charity-by-design

    Also, it seems that they choose the charm if it somehow connected, and I saw that they have a Tree of Life charm; which I found to be representative of the CCA community.

    Anyways, this was just a thought.
