Ask about reduced hospital/doctor charges!

After 10 months of battling this disease, in and out of the hospital, surgery, and chemotherapy, I found out that I can apply for reduced hospital charges due to my income. It’s only retroactive three months – and only reduces my charges by 25% – but something is better than nothing. I wish someone had told me about this program earlier.

Its worth asking about. All you have to do is ask the accounts people at the hospital for an application for reduced charges. Fill it out, give it back, and they will make a determination based on your financial circumstances.
