To lose your mom is so hard to bear. I think all of us at some time in our lives know something is not quite right.
Alan told me this is how he felt when he first approached the doctor.

Your mom knew this and left you some letters and instructions to try and ease the grief for you and the family.

She loved you so much, that is why she did it. take heart from her thoughts of you.

We, on this site need everyone’s story to be told for each has its own process. Non appear to be the same, some with similar aspects but never in the same manner.
We as carer’s also process these things in a different manner.
It will only be from such a site as this where the reality hits home and that hopefully a cure in the future will come about.
    love and light Alan’s mom

    Dear Jilly,
So sorry for the loss of your mum – I know first-hand how heartbreaking it is. Don’t worry about taking anyone’s hope away – just post whatever you want in the “remembrance” section – we all have our stories that need to be told. I wish you some peace and comfort in the days ahead.

Jilly… May your mum rest in peace. I’m sure she knew and accepted the Lords hand. My sincere condolences.

    God Bless,
    Jeff G.
P.S. Yes we will look forward to seeing your catalogue when the time is right for you.

I found this forum, about 11 weeks ago. My dear sweet brave mum found out she had cc. Looking back, i think she knew something was wrong, as i have found letters and instructions amongst her paperwork, she wrote just before she went into hospital. Anyway after a short but very brave fight, mum passed away 19/05/08, after many procedures that never seemed to go quite right. When i have more time i shall catalogue her stay. I just want to add to the board mums story, but do not want to take away anyones hope. I have learned from much research, that cc is different for all. Funeral is Wednesday 28/05/08
