There is a charity mentioned in another post that was founded in memory of someone who lost his battle with cc, see:

Is the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation a 501c3 organization so that all donations are tax deductible?

    Pauline,

We are also trying to decide where all the donations that came in after my Mom died should go and I think we are going to divide them equally between:

    this foundation

the hospice organization that helped her and us

To directly fund research on cholangiocarcinoma, Johns Hopkins has a fund:

There is a lovely quote on their page that goes like this:

“The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit.” -Nelson Henderson

I hope this information is helpful.

Since my husband Anthony died on 30th July I have had requests from friends, family, colleagues etc to suggest a charitable fund that they can send donations to in his memory. We live in the UK and my first thoughts were Cancer Research UK but I would really prefer the money to go directly to research into cholangiocarcinoma. Can anyone suggest the best solution?
    Thank you
    Pauline
