MemberMarion and Pauline,
I lived in Barcelona for a year so I really hope you enjoyed it and that the Catalans treated you well.
I was curious about the Bolivian doctor reporting a higher incidence of cc in young patients, a quick search turned up this ancient article:
http://ije.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/12/2/156
And it is no surprise to me that our bracelets are the latest fashion!

MemberGreetings and warmest wishes to you both – our goodwill ambassadors – spreading the word about CC in important places! What a good feeling to know that more and more people are learning about CC – especially Doctors, who are in a position to diagnose earlier, and maybe help some person with CC in their battle.
Love – Joyce

ModeratorLisa, of course. I hope that you have a chance to enjoy the summer especially, since your scan came out so positive.
Pauline and I have spoken with physicians from all over the world and, all of them have welcomed us, encouraged us, and have taken our brochures. A more detailed report will follow.
Accross from the conference center is a large square with several restaurants. And lo and behold….we have noticed many of our wristbands being worn. There a very few hand-outs from other exhibitors therefor, making our bracelets quite popular. It warms my heart to think of a young person in Bolivia being connected with all of us in this special way. A physician from that country was telling us about the high incidence of CC patients who mainly, are in teens.
Lots of conversations about all of you between Pauline and I.
Greetings from almost too hot for comfort, Barcelona.

ModeratorSo, here I am struggling to converse with this physician from France. He is trying to tell me something and I am trying for him to understand what I think he had said. Pauline simply leaned over and continued the conversation in fluent French but, that wasn’t it. She spoke in Italian with the next physician. I think that she is keeping something from us: I wonder how many more languages she speaks. I am looking forward to tomorrow. I wonder what she will come up with next.
Hugs to everyone
