Dad started Chemo

    Kay,

    My mom was on Gemzar, Oxiliplatin, Nexavar and Xeloda. Out of all of the four the only side effect she experienced was “cold neuropathy” for two days after the chemo. This mainly annoyed her since she could not drink her daily milkshakes.

    I hope your Dad does well and will keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers.

    Other than a bit of fatigue, that kicked in after a few weeks, my dad didnt have any side effects from the combo of Gemzar and Cisplatin. Hoping the same for your dad.

    He is taking Gemzar and Cisplatin.

    Hi there everyone.

    Dad started his chemo on Thursday. He has been totally fine since. Taking his pills but feels nothing else. Would the side effects kick in already???? Or do they start after weeks of Chemo???
