Phase II of the Clinical Trial for Erlotinib & Docetaxel?

I spoke with my doctor about the next regime if the gemzar and cispl. didnt work and erlotinib was mentioned. From what she said, that drug was very tough but it showed really good results with some types of cancer.

Has anyone been a part of the Clinical Trial for Erlotinib and Docetaxel? We just learned today that this clinical trial has been re-opened. My sister had a liver re-section 2.25 years ago. In August her routine CT Scan showed tumor re-growth in the liver and now 2 spots in the lungs. She is to start Carboplatgem next week unless she wants to commute 2+ hours to St. Louis every week to participate in the clinical trial. It sounds like the combination of the two drugs is tough stuff.
