NHS perception of CCF??

That is an excellent idea and as you say, this cancer has no borders and neither does the internet. This site as you say is for all of us. As a start, perhaps UK members who have not already done so could update your physicians thread in the hospitals board with information regarding hospital/treatment/surgeon etc? And as you say, hopefully other things can evolve from there. I don’t know how many UK members there are here, but it would be a start?

But, this site is not for American’s only. As you have mentioned, this cancer does not have any borders and neither does the CC site. We would though like to establish a more informative section for members of each country. Why not start with the U.K? We need to have a listing of all physicians treating this disease, cancer centers, etc. Rick could then implement a link for the U.K. Other things could evolve from there. What do you think?

Why, why, why every time I tell one of my sister’s healthcare team about the wonderful wealth of support & information on this site do I get the immediate response; “oh – but it’s an american website”???
Exactly when did CC become a national, rather than an international, issue???
More importantly, HOW do I get the message across that CCF is THE place to be when you’re in this position, either as a patient or a caregiver??
