    Hello Theresa and welcome to our Family. We are from Phoenix, AZ but I wanted to welcome you and just know you have come to the right place. I know there are some members if not in your area pretty darn close so just watch for some more responses. We almost always recommend 2nd and 3rd opinions if needed. You go until you feel satisfied that is your right. Please keep us posted.

    I was not sure where to post but I thank you for responding. I am from California. I will take Marions advice and post in the general section. I wish all of you the best. Do not give up and keep the faith.

    Rowena: This is a special service offered to California residents. thesecondopinion.org. We have not seen anyone (on this board) to contact this organization however, I think it is well worth looking in to.
    Depending on your region in California there are other physicians also very familiar with this cancer and gladly, we will forward the names to you.

    Welcome to the site, although I am sorry that you have to be here. I can’t help you with finding a doctor in California as I am in Scotland, but I wanted to join the others in welcoming you here. Please come back often as you will get a ton of support and help from all of us here.

    Welcome Rowena.
    We have several people here from California. IF you post in the general section with something like Need help finding a doctor in California as your title, I am sure someone will come along and help. I am worried that your post in this thread will be lost before someone can help you. I dont know any doctors in Calf so I cant help you.

    I have been diagnosed with Cholanglocarinoma. My cancer is in the bile ducts in the liver. I have undergone chemo and radiation and the oncologist wants to do more chemo. I would like to find an oncologist in California that has treated bile duct cancer. If anyone can recommend someone, I would appreciate it. My cancer is inopertable so I have been told my only options are chemo and radiation and now I have had as much radiation as I can have.
