Lainy…..Please, do not feel bad. Guidelines for current tissue samplings are still being established by the NCI. Therefore, even if you had preserved tissue a few years back most likely, it would not be useable at today’s standards. The guidelines determine specific handling procedures for retrieving and handling of tissue, as contamination is one of the major problems occurring.

Marion, thanks so much. Guess it’sout of the question for Teddy as he will not be undergoing any more procedures. Could of, would have. Very interesting though.
