Anyone have a history of auto-immune hepatitis?

I know that hepatitis is a major risk factor for cc, and my mother had auto-immune hepatitis, which was under control but must have damaged her liver and bred cancer. Just wondering if there is anyone else out there who has, or knows someone who has, auto-immune hepatitis. It seems to me that getting a blood test every 3 months to check liver function wasn’t aggressive enough in my mother’s case – there should be a better way to screen those who are at risk so it can be caught early.
