Hi lily….and sorry for the late reply. I had been out of town attending the PSC annual symposium in Sacramento and did not have much of a chance to look at our board. First and foremost, welcome to our site. Lily…we try to supply all relevant information to all CC patients and caregivers however, ultimately the physician will make the decision in regards to treatments. But, it is really important to stay abreast and to gather as much knowledge as possible, as it will give you the power to make informed decisions. Therefore, continue to educate yourself about this disease; possibly gather more opinions from centers very familiar with this disease, and work with those physicians who treat a large volume of patients.
A suspended clinical trial may mean that it will be re-instated at a later date. Often time

    Hi Marions,

My mom is 73 and status post surgery, matestatic (lung). She has been on Xeloda for the past 5 month. I am wondering if there is any targeted therapy or clinical trial she could be enrolled into.

I am wondering the status of trial “Sorafenib Tosylate and Erlotinib Hydrochloride in Treating Patients With Locally Advanced, Unresectable, or Metastatic Gallbladder Cancer or Cholangiocarcinoma” since it sounds promising and managable. It shows as suspended on NIH’s website.

    Thanks in advance.
