Mark, you need to find a doctor to interpret the CT radiology report in language you can understand. I get copies of all that kind of stuff, but am not qualified to interpret the info myself. It’s very easy to misread.
Hi Mark. Don’t jump to conclusions yet. I had major cancer surgery on my stomach 1 1/2 years ago and when I get scanned it always turns up that at the end of the suture there is some kind of flare up. After 3 PETs now they have decided it is just from where the surgery ends, nothing to worry about but will watching it. With that said let’s hope for a great PET Scan tomorrow. There is really nothing to guess at until after the PET. Sending my best wishes your Dad’s way.
Hi all,
My dad had Ct scan and it says that there is a 6cmx3cm ill defined hypodense mass at the surgical clips in the surgical margin is that mean its a reecurence? im so frighten or its just the changes after teh resection, he had blood test done the ca19-9 is 14 should be <37 so its ok, he is haveing a pet scan tomorow can anyone help
