    Sorry for not responding sooner…just wanted to let you know that according to ENT there was no vocal cord paralysis, just overuse, which was great news. Thanks for the information on possibiilty of neurotoxicity, always helpful to have just in case.

    Lourdes….I don’t recall anyone reporting vocal cord paralysis. But you might want to ask the physician about possible Neurotoxicity (nerve damage) caused by the Cisplatin.

    He is currently on the Gem/Cis combo, and had 2 TACE treatments using Adriamycin (Doxorubicin). He has an appointment with an ENT MD but I just wondered if anyone else had this experience due to CC or trxt, or maybe it’s not connected at all?

    Thanks for the link for the picture, I am trying to understand what lymph nodes are affected and having the visual helps.

    Hi Lourdes,

    I am sorry to hear of your dad going through this. What treatment did he have before this happened? You mention chemo, was it the Gem/Cis combo that he had?

    As to pictures of the lymph nodes by the inferior vena cava, is this link any use to you?

    Hello everyone ~
    I was wondering if anyone has experienced vocal cord paralysis during their treatment? My dad recently got some results back, that I am now reading over, and it mentions this vocal cord paralysis. I have been trying to search anything that can be related w/regards to chemo or CC itself, but no such luck.

    Also, does anyone know of a good picture that shows the lymph nodes by the inferior vena cava?
