    Hi Percy
I do not know my A1C level because my blood sugar was never high enough to run that test….I do not have diabetes….I will bring the article the next time I see my oncologist and see what he thinks about it….Low blood sugar can be a big problem so I look forward to your updates on this …..thanks again!

    Hi,
Do you know your HaB1c level?(or just called A1c surger level)
Are you a type 1 or 2 diabetic patient ?
If you are not a diabetic patient, you may have a hard time to convince doctor unless s/ he is your friend or relative in the medical field,
But I think you can print the article out and bring it to the oncologist to see what he thinks first. The metformin will lower your blood sugar so be careful. Even if you get what you want.
    God bless.

    Hi Percy
First of all I would like to thank you for all the hard work and time so many of you put in for the greater good for all….This article was also of personal interest to me since I did have ICC ….my question is who will prescribe the Metformin for you? I would be willing to try this also…my bloodsugar is at 87 so it is very good I just can’t see my PCP prescribing it for me but I would like to give it a try….any suggestions on what I may present to her to convince her?
    Thanks
    Nancy

    Hi,
This will be my next project for research;the question for me is that , how it will affect my normal blood sugar level if I take it like twice daily after meals at 500mg ,(I think 250mg is too low a dose )even if I am not a diabetic. I can not take the “statins” like lipitor because it caused my liver enzyme went crazy; but I have fatty liver cells (about 10%) on the first pathology report ,so this actually may be of benefit to add to my regimen that now I am off and on taking fish oil to lower my triglyceride- the ingredient for the body to make cholesterol ; but I do not have enough time at this point to do a detail research.
    God bless.
