    With regard to the pathology report, I think it provides a good professional answer to the medical professional to understand the report.
    It tells you everything are fine at the time of incision exam with the common bile duct cutting edge normal with clear margin but display atypical appreance of the normal cells should be. In short, please read the link below even it is not specific for cc, but the opinion holds true.

    My Dad is distal bile duct carcinoma and had whipple operation on June. He has just finished his first chemo (gemcitabine+oxaliplatin). Generally, he tolerates the side effects well. A little bit nausea, dizzy, and low fever for a couple of days. He believes he could go through the following 3 cycle chemo and 1 cycle radiotherapy.

    I have two questions hope to get helps:

    1. Our oncologist doesn’t give us a clear answer regarding whether Dad has a clear margin or not. The pathology is: “No cancer at duodenum incised margin, pancreas incised margin, and common bile duct incised margin. But common bile duct cut edge epithelial displays adenomatous hyperplasia along with medium-severe atypical hyperplasia.”

    2. My Dad is poorly differentiated. Anyone is/knows the same differentiation, and live longer than 5 year?
