    Great link, Randi. Yes, early detection is the key, as it then transfers to the appropriate treatments too. In this day of the sequester we are thrilled to see any monies dedicated to this disease.

    I know. Can you imagine the impact that early detection would have on people on this site? I am very happy that this type of research is going on. Not only is he a great doctor and researcher, he is actually a very very nice man.

    Wow! Randi, your ONC is not only one of the best he is now a Celebrity! This Grant is fabulous and must make you feel so good about him! It is also good news for the CC community! Thanks for letting us know. Jeepers this is great news.

    My oncologist, Aram Hezel,, received a $750,000 grant to support his research into ICC and pancreatic cancer in its early stages to try and facilitate early detection.

    His research is discussed in the second half of the article.
