Hi Lisa,

I’m sorry that the news wasn’t as good as we hoped but at least they’re on top of things and already have options for you. When is the tumor board meeting?

You are definitely in my prayers!!!

I’m going to try and call you tomorrow (Thursday). I hope we can connect. It’s been awhile.

Lisa,
I’m sorry to hear you hAve any activity at all. Glad your MD is on the ball to pinpoint the cause and that you have several options. It is also relatively reassuring (well that’s a stretch) to hear this is a small isolated place probably related to an old tumor maybe and nothing new that’s distant. But really this is me trying to spin positive from a let down because I want remission for you! . Many loving thoughts and prayers for healing and health.

I had my PET/ CT scan today. My radiologist just called and the scan showed some slight uptake in an area they radiated in December. The uptake number was 3.5 so not too worrisome but since my tumor marker increased they will be discussing my case at the tumor board meeting. He said we might biopsy the area, we could possibly use radiation or maybe surgically remove it. Please keep praying.the good news is there is no other cancer anywhere in the body.

Will keep you in our thoughts and prayers for the PET scan. I know our ONC said that a lot of things can affect those numbers so they can be off because of something non-cancerous. So keep up positive thoughts that it is something else.

Hi everyone,
CA 19-9 results are back and the new number is 44, so up just two points from September. Since the number did not go down my doctor wants to do a PET scan next week.
