Lisa….agree. We learn of all these promising discoveries but none lead to quick applications for the patients. Hopeful but yet so frustrating.

    Marion,
This is very interesting, sounds great if they could move it along a little faster.

Mary….unfortunately not. These studies still need to undergo human testing. As you may know, dear Mary, things are observed in the petri dish, move on to animal studies and then (if data looks promising) will lead to clinical human studies.
Mary, I too am hoping and wishing for you to be eligible for a resection and so eagerly await your sharing the news with us.
    Hugs are heading your way,
    Marion

    Hi Marion,

This sounds very promising for those who have had liver surgery and need the liver to grow. I wish I was eligible for resection. I know it’s a long shot but I’m still hoping they can keep me alive long enough to be eligible. Using the prolactin, after the surgery sounds helpful. I wonder if it’s been used in any patients yet?

    Peace & Love,
    Mary
