Thank you all for your condolences and kindness. My husband was able to spend much needed time with his family over the last few days and it was comforting to tell and hear stories that brought tears and laughter. She was loved by so many and touched hearts and lives all around her.

Her memorial will be next weekend and our daughters will sing. It will be tough to get through but we know she is no longer hurting so that eases the pain for us some.

Thank you all for your input, suggestions, advice and for just reading and understanding the pain this awful cancer causes.

My deepest sympathies are with you and your family.  I am so very sorry you lost a wonderful woman much too soon to this disease.  From your posts and reaching out here, it showed how dedicated you were to doing whatever possible to make things better.

Thoughts and prayers are with you,

    Dear Angela,

I am sorry. Your courage is an example of what the whole CC family is called to be.

I am grateful for the fat that you share your journey with strangers you call family. It is so odd and yet so beautifl and powerful for you to call us all to attention.

    blessings,

    Angela,

I am so sorry for your loss.  I’m glad she passed peacefully with her son at her side.  You, her family and friends have my deepest sympathy.  As you said, you can take a bit of comfort in knowing that  she is  no longer suffering.  She is now pain free and at peace.

    Hugs,

    Darla

    Dear Angela,

Please accept my prayers and condolences for your family’s loss.  Rosemary was surrounded by love and comfort throughout her CCA journey, as well as the devoted care and attention by her family and medical caregivers.  Your persistence in pushing for answers regarding her care certainly made a difference for preserving Rosemary’s quality of life during this difficult time.

Thank you for sharing Rosemary’s story on this board.  Please stay connected with this community – your experience with CCA and all you have learned will be valued and appreciated by others coping with a CCA diagnosis.

    Regards, Mary

    Dear CC family,

My MIL, Rosemary, passed away last night around 6:45. It was a peaceful and love filled send off. Her son was able to be by her side telling her he loved her, how proud he was of her for the fight she gave this wretched cancer, and that she was free to go and be free of the pain forever. She did just that and slipped away peacefully and bravely.

My husbands aunt (Rosemary’s sister) called when we were on the drive up to be there in Rosemary’s last hours to tell us that she was waiting for her son to get there before she passed on. That is exactly what she was doing and she passed on with us by her side.

We are grieving her loss, but so glad she is no longer in pain and suffering. She’s whole and happy in heaven now. We carry many happy memories with us as we celebrate her life and love.

She was a tough and brave women who loved everyone she met and was in turn loved by everyone that met her.

She wad diagnosed around March 28th and made her crossing on November 2. She fought bravely and never complained…I wish to be more like she was in so many ways.

    Thank you all

    Hopeseeker (Angela)
