So happy for this good news. He has had his share of procedures and treatments……so glad to hear they have been beneficial to him. Love to hear these kind of stories….thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing the wonderful milestone. It has been the rollercoaster ride that we often describe this disease as, but very happy to hear your husband is now feeling well and able to have a normal life.

Amazing to know people who have gone on for years especially with the intense treatment program. Obviously not everyone is a candidate for surgery, and some individuals may have more sensitivity to a very strong treatment. As we know CC is very individualized, so have to look at the age, medical history, and tolerance level of the person before any treatment program.

Hello,
Just posting that it’s now just over six years since my husband’s first resection for multifocal intrahepatic CC. He’s had three resections, adjuvant gemcitabine after the second resection, adjuvant Xeloda after the third, and a microwave ablation nearly two years ago for a further recurrence. He’s been clear so far since then, is a keen cyclist, and appears to be well.
