Needed that. I am 32 and this cancer has really thrown me for a loop. I just dont have time for it. Planning my life precancer was hard enough. I am more positive now that I have heard these stories.

Tina and Ken…. Really glad to hear your positive news. Having chemo after surgery is something a few of us would have done in hind sight. Keep it going!

My husband Ken was diognosed with cc May of 2006 he’s 48 years old. He was operated on June 28, 2007 and had about 60% of his liver removed and the gallbladder and the bile duct was rerouted to the liver. The cancer did not spread at all. The liver was cancer free it was all in the bile duct. he went through chemo for 5 months to make sure they had all the cancer. hes been cancer free since june 28th 2007. It has been a long hard road for his recovery but he is doing great now. thank god!

Last week I had the pleasure of talking to a wonderful older man. He shared with me that he had been diagnosed with CC in 1993 has two stints implanted, and that he had been treated with 5-FU for ten quite tolerable years. He is though quite upset that the treatments have caused problems with two of his heart valves. After expressing my concern and good wishes he revealed that he was eighty-seven years old. It warmed my heart – may it warm yours.
