Welcome to our community.  I wish you had gotten better news – but please know this community of patients and caregivers is here for you.

The announcement for the clinical trial Gavin posted indicates it is still recruiting.  There is a point of contact listed at the bottom of the announcement whom you can call if you have questions.

Announcements for clinical trials can be found at clinicaltrials.gov.  You can search the database for studies related to cholangiocarcinoma.  In addition to “cholangiocarcinoma,” you can search “bile duct” and “ biliary” to find trials for treatments for our cancer.  There is also clinical trial information on the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation website.  Your doctors can help you look into clinical trials and will advise when a trial is your best treatment option.

If you have any concerns or questions, please send them our way.  When I was diagnosed, I was shell-shocked and pretty silent in my initial medical visits.  Please be sure to make a list of questions for the oncologist and if you wish, take someone with you to take notes.
