November 7, 2008 at 5:21 pm #24024lainySpectatorHere is another one to believe! Yesterday Dr. Kresl (oncology radiologist) said he would call our new ONC and he already did this morning! This man is unbelievable! Jeff, I wish I could send these guys to you and they would come back and say the same things! We think about you all the time. Hey, or hay! I finally put our mugs on the Faces page! The pretty one is my daughter!!! Love you Jeff!!!

November 6, 2008 at 11:30 pm #24018lainySpectatorYES! I am getting ready for Girl’s Night Out and everyone wants to celebrate with cocktails but none of us girls drink!!! Maybe Shirley Temples.
More than that we do want to meet you. Teddy is so good talking to others that perhaps he can give Lee a huge boost!!! You mentioned that Lee’s has not met to the liver, I am curious then where is his? I must have missed that along the line. Let’s make a plan, I am so jealous of the Seattle crowd!!!! We could throw a date out here to the Phoenix area and see if anyone else answers or it can just be us!November 6, 2008 at 11:13 pm #24017heatherkpMemberOh Lainy! I cannot tell you how happy I am for the both of you! I just screamed out loud…Em came running out of her room…Lee wants to know everything T’s been on and I think just knowing what great doctor’s we have at AZ Oncology…he now has more hope! But can’t forget to give credit where credit is really due…God!! We are thrilled! Still plannin’ on a meeting…I promise! Afterall, we would love to meet a superhero like the infamous Mr. T! Way to fight and win a battle!
Lot of love and smiles,
HeatherNovember 6, 2008 at 10:56 pm #24016darlaSpectatorWhat wonderful news for the two of you. It also gives hope to others here.
DarlaNovember 6, 2008 at 10:23 pm #24015marionsModeratorCyberhugs to you and Teddy and thank you for sharing this incredible, uplifting news. It is wonderful to see that the words “cancer free” can accompany a CC diagnoses. How inspiring this is.
November 6, 2008 at 9:23 pm #24014hollieMemberWhat excellent news!! So happy for you and love the picture. Hope this is the start of more good news for more patients. Hollie
November 6, 2008 at 7:00 pm #1705lainySpectatorWe just got back from Teddy’s radiologist and the good news is, as Dr. Kresl said, “When Teddy gets a PET Scan in January, he will be cancer free!” What a gift! The latest scan showed NO new cancer anywhere and that the mass had shrunk from the radiation. Dr. Kresl is setting up cyberknife for mid December to get the rest! He felt there would be NO problem with the insurance company this time. We know T will have to be watched the rest of his life but how blessed we are. Probably the main ingredient here is that his cancer was contained originally in the bile duct valve. We are not wearing rose colored glasses and know it can spring up anytime anywhere but for now are on cloud nine. My deepest heart felt wish is that all of you could have some good news as well!!! By the way, I finally put our picture on the Faces page. Stay strong…we love you all!
