Of course not, Kris. We have had several people on this board “having to give up their appendix” and I am wondering whether there is a connection with the disease, or not.
You always find a way to make me smile.

Not me. Should I feel like I am missing something? :)

Mine burst and I ran around like that for two more days before I finally went to the ER. I guess having cc makes you a little too willing to “tough it out”– I didn’t think anything serious was wrong!

My husband had one approximately 10 years before CC was diagnoised. His actually burst in the ER just before surgery.

Good idea to poll our members. I had one in September. I think that it was due to the general inflammation and infection of my blocked bile ducts.

We had several postings commenting on appendectomies. I would love to hear from others on this subject. Possibly, we can collect some data and if relevant to this disease, possibly, it would help physicians and patients to be aware of this development.
Thank your for taking the time to respond.
    Fondly,
    Marion
