Great news Marion, thanks for letting us all know! Hope that this years ASCO will be a good one again!!
Yeah! Thank you for this great news. I had no doubt as we are in high demand! Thanks to all of you, where would we be without this joint effort. We are one of a kind! And we will persevere and WIN!
I must say that ASCO has been very supportive of our efforts from our very first humble beginning in 2008. The organization also continues to support us by providing grants to new advocates and training for some through the Conquer Cancer Foundation, a part of ASCO.
Mark, Percy, Linda, KarenD and Barbara benefitted from their advocacy training.
Applying for the “special” booth is somewhat nerve wracking, as we have to make sure to get in our application correctly and on time – no “seconds” granted. Then of course comes the wait….will we be chosen?
Suspense over…. very happy people on this end.
