    hip hip hooray! Congrats on such a great milestone Lainy! you know I wouldn’t have had the good spirits and attitude toward my surgery and chemo and healing if I didn’t have you and this board. I am forever grateful to everyone here.

    Yep, 7 years and they sure have flown in have they not!! And both you and Marion have 2 years more on me. Glad that I have given you some laughs along the journey and here is to many many more years and hopefully loads more laughs as well!! :)

    And Jeff G, what a top guy he was as well!

    Oh My, Son from another MUM! Have we been together 7 years??? Yes, they have flown by and wait until you are my age! They fly at the speed of sound.

    And my Dear Marion, it has been 10 years for us, and you know darn well I could not have been the Caretaker I was and gone through Teddy’s 5 years with CC if it was not for you and Jeff G! I do remember it all very well. And have to say you, Gavin and I have also had lots of laughs!

    Yay indeed Momma, huge yippee’s all round!!! And like Marion as well I can so remember back when you were going through all of the treatment etc. 7 Years just seems to have flown by has it not!!

    Congratulations, dear Lainy. I remember the day of surgery and your recovery time. So happy it turned out to be a curative operation.

    YIPPEE for me! I totally forgot that on October 1st I entered my 7th year Cancer free for another rare Cancer. It is called a Gastro Stromal Intestinal Tumor, GIST for short. GIST reacts much like CC in as much as it is extremely rare, no causes known, surgery best cure and can return anywhere. There is only 1 chemo pill and no guarantee. But I am starting year 7, not to be looked at lightly! I have never given it much thought only to tell myself it was not returning and since it occurred in Teddy’s last year I was more worried about him so was too busy and that may be a good thing. Keep busy and don’t think about it. Just wanted to share my great news.
