    Marion,
    We are waiting for the phone call but it is suppose to be before his first chemo on August 16 when he starts chemo back up again. I am hoping that it shows a path so we know which drugs are going to work for him! Amazing how it all works!

    Shellie….TACE also called chemoembolization is used frequently with great results. Of great interest are the biopsy results revealing molecular alterations (faults) for which a targeted drug may be available. Has the procedure been scheduled?

    Marion,

    So yes next they want to do a biopsy for molecular testing and they want to see if they can do TRACE on him where they directly hit the liver with chemo beads. So we may be on the right track?

    Shelley……agree with Lainy, venting it good for the soul and this is the place to do so. Don’t hold back.

    Do you know what the next treatment will consist of and has molecular testing been conducted? If no tissue biopsy, then blood test can be an option with a lab such as Guardant Health. http://www.guardanthealth.com/patients/

    Hang in there, Shelley, upward trends happen as often as the downturn of events.

    Shellie, venting totally allowed here! Sorry to read about your Fiancé’s CT Scam and sorry but it really doesn’t seem to end that quickly. We try to remain realistically optimistic. None of us have bought a ticket for this roller coaster ride. The goods is the chemo should take care of those 2 nasty’s. Hang in and hang on!

    We went for our CT Scan yesterday (my fiance) he has been off chemo since April, good news is the tumor hasn’t grown but he had two small nodules in both sides of his lungs from CC and they had went up a couple milometers! UGH So starting back at chemo in August not looking forward to it! Just want this to be over with will it ever END! It makes it difficult to stay positive when your always getting knocked down. CANCER SUCKS! Sorry needed to vent…..
