Biliary Catheter issues

My first biliary catheter dislodged, so far the one I have currently seems to be hanging in there but I’m nervous because some days I get almost no discharge, less than 100 cc and in previous days I probably get closer to 600 cc. Is this normal? I really don’t want to go through getting another one.

Also do you guys flush your catheter? I wasn’t given any supplies or instructions on flushing it but I’m wondering if thats why I’m not getting as much discharge.

Any advice would be appreciated. I’m pretty new to all of this.
