Thank you so much for the info and inspiration – this site is great and all of you – as you know any little thing sets off the worry :) Thank you again :)

Val…I agree with Nancy and Lainy. I would also insist on another blood test within the next few weeks. Of course any raise in body temperature you would want to report to the physician.
You are doing just great. Keep it up.
    All my best wishes,
    Marion

Hi Val, I totally agree with Nancy and would like to add that an infection can also cause the culprit to rise. Sounds to me like you are doing well and I say, you go girl, keep up the good work but be watchful as always!

Hi Val, I would keep tabs on the bilirubin. Slightly elevated could be because your liver is working harder and not clearing the bilirubin fast enough but that is understandable after major surgery. It could also mean blocked ducts, but Mayo would be on top of that. Some medications can cause a rise in bilirubin; you could check with your doctor about any meds you are on. I am sure some others will come on board to give more suggestions. Take care. Nancy

Hi – I just got back from Mayo Clinic – where I had an MRI to recheck some “suspicious” tissue that showed up on my last MRI after surgery back in November. My blood work has always been excellent. There has been no change in the suspicious tissue so we will continue to watch – however – they said my billi rubin is slightly elevated – should I be concerned of this? Any info would be great!!

    Thank you
    Val Timm
