Bitter melon? And anti-oxidants ? Can you take it during chemotherapy

Dear all,

My father is finally starting chemotherapy tomorrow (gem/cisplatin plus panitumumab). I really hope he tolerates it well and he responds for a long time.

I have read the posts about bitter melon (everything counts!) and am wondering if it is ok to take everyday during chemotherapy?

I know that many oncologists don’t like anti- oxidants during chemotherapy either. Any feedback from people here?
