Thanks Susan and Marion for your help. Nurse comes in again on Thursday, will have a good talk to her. The hospice Doctor wasn’t too knowledgeable on this part of things. We all keep learning ! Bless you both and have a good New Year.
    Warm wishes Frances

Dear Frances – So sorry you and your mom have to experience this. I do not have any suggestions except to agree with Marion to have the doctors make sure she is comfortable. May you and she experience peace as you travel this difficult road. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Blessings, Susan.

Frances…..I am so sorry to hear about your dear Mom. I believe that you should call the physician. Your Mom needs to be made comfortable and there are medications to available to make this happen.
    Best of all wishes,
    Marion

My Mother, 89 in January has had no treatment due to age in part also things just gone too far. Very frail now, has oral thrush also going to the bathroom as many times as 7 times per day for mainly wind and a small amount of waxy diarrhoea that has to be wiped away. Hospise nurses seem to be at a loss. Can anyone help, has anyone experienced similar. To all the caregivers around the world stay strong.

    Frances
