    There are unfortunately lots of new people on the board and people have been asking about alternative treatments so I thought I would resurrect this thread. I did another search and found this page, not sure how current it is, the explanation is good but the links toward the end do not work:

    When my mom was sick I posted that we gave her breast milk and put up a link to an article. I found an updated article so here is the link:

    We gave her my sister’s breast milk but she had almost weaned her son so she did not get much and I can’t say if it had any effect but I am glad we tried. One of the main benefits of something like this is complete lack of side effects, what could be more natural than human milk?
