CA 19-9?

    What exactly does the CA 19-9 value reveal over time? My initial test was 19620 and another test 4 days later returned 27519. My onc said that I shouldn’t put much stock in the number and only know that an out-of-range value is simply the indicator for CCA.

    OK, I get that, but I can’t help but think that if the value is increasing, that is indicative of increasing disease progression. Can any of you help me understand this based on your experience?
