    Hi Lainy,

Yep, I know you will both continue to fight and have attitude, lots and lots of attitude, all of it positive!! Neither of you would have it any other way would you!

I’m glad that Teddy’s gameplan is in place and I hope the the results in December are good. Then they can go in with the cyberknife and zap that sucker!

You know I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you and I hope that it doesn’t return. Here’s hoping that your results in January will be positive and will get the new year off to a great start for you both!

My very best wishes to you both

    Gavin

Teddy: The CA 19 (cancer marker) is now up to 186 from last month of 109.
We are not too concerned as although it is climbing we know its because the cancer returned but the game plan is already in motion for the middle of
December with a PET Scan and needle biopsy. Again we are hoping for the
    cyber knife in January.

Lainy: The GIST tumor results are that there is a 50/50 chance of it’s
returning. We are not doing chemo as it really works better once the mass
returns and there is no guarantee it will actually stop the return and has
bad side effects. I am now added to the wait and watch program and will
visit the ONC every other month with CT scans here and there. He said it is
another extremely rare cancer and if it returns to the liver or lungs, there
is no treatment. So similar to T’s CC yet different. I did get a nice
compliment today as he said of all the cancer patients he has ever treated
not one had my attitude, with me or Teddy. SO that was nice but why could
it not have been an award for something other than Cancer?

That is the story and I’m sticking to it. T goes in next month and I go in
January. It is what it is and we will continue to fight and have attitude!!!
