    Hi Percy,

No problems my friend, you go right ahead and borrow anything you want to!

I saw the heatwave you guys are going through right now on the news and it looks horrible to say the least. I hope you and your family are all okay and keeping cool? Sure I’ll say hi to my mum from you.

She got bloods taken today at home from the district nurse and they are checking for clots amongst other things, and they are starting her on diuretics for the swelling and they think that may help as well with her bruising, she is covered in bruises. She got a lung function test yesterday again at home and that is down to 31% now. Should hear back next week if the bloods show anything up that needs further investigation.

Ha! Brave sounds really good!!! Glad that you liked it and I’ve not seen it yet, just the advertising clips for it. Looking forward to seeing it and it was great that it had loads of Scottish actors in it doing the voices. Think that Billy Connolly was in it too.

Just seen this piece that relates to what I posted yesterday and thought I’d post the link here too –

    Hi, Gavin,
I borrowed the link to update the “overview of cholangiocarcinoma and hope you don’t mind.
BTW, it is hot in Chicago,I was told this is the hottest year in the history of Chicago. Say hi to your mum for me,; I went to see the cartoon movie”Brave”
with my kids.(>21 years) and the story is worth the price of the tickets and even an old guy like me shed a few tears about the bonding between a daughter and her mother.
    God bless.

From the Japan Times today –

    Cancers prompt chemical check

    Full story here –

Cancer reports highlight loose regulations / Government fails to clamp down on printing companies handling harmful chemicals

    http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/national/T120711003755.htm

This bit from the above piece stood out for me –

“According to the health ministry, about 13,000 people died of bile duct cancer in 2010 in Japan.”

Japan has a population of around 128m according to the last survey in 2010.
