    Thanks Catherine and Lainy!

Yes, can’t believe it has been 6 years either. Where does the time go!

    Hugs to you both,

    Gavin

Dear Son From Another Mum, Hard to believe that 6 years have passed from your wonderful DAD. . Dad was just one year ahead of Teddy. Not sure where the time goes. I know your Dad is so very proud of the man you are and the way you keep him with you on this Board. Let the good memories come forward.

    Dear Gavin-

You”ll be in my thoughts today. Although 6 years, I know he’s still very deeply missed. The dedication you have to all of us is such a tribute to his memory.

    xoxo,
    Catherine

Thanks for that Catherine. Yep, let’s light things up. Percy, Duke and so many others as well. All so very sorely missed indeed by tons of people worldwide.

    Hugs,

    Gavin

Hi. Bumping this to top. I’m waiting for my credit card cycle to close and then planning on putting a little light up in remembrance of Duke. Check out the lighta candle post on homepage.

Let’s light up the night and fight this

I lit a candle for Percy from MD- I wonder how many other places /people he touched and will continue to in the future. My thought was that this should be not only for loved ones ( although one is lit too honoring my mother), but for those living or passed who have touched our lives through this board. So yes, I guess it is loved ones, since there is a lot of love and hugs here , but please think more broadly beyond “family” and donate if you can ($10 helps and will be matched).

Thanks for that Julia and yes it is very comforting to see all of the candles from all around the world. I lit one as well for my dad last week on the 5th anniversary of his passing.

    Hugs,

    Gavin

Julia….so nice to hear from you and to know that these two candles are lit in memory of two wonderful people. Thank you. How is your Mum coming along?
    Hugs,

I lit a candle for my lovely sister and for Valjee (Val in Cornwall). It made me feel good as I miss them both so much. Thank you for this opportunity, Marion. It was comforting to see those flickering candles all over the Globe.

This holiday season, we are asking everyone to take part in our online candlelight vigil by lighting a virtual candle in honor or memory of a loved one while making an enormous impact in the lives of others.

Click on a State and see who has been honored.
