Celiac and or ibs?

    I was diagnosed with Celiac about 3 years before being diagnosed with CC. I always wondered if there was a correlation.

    lost soul: there have been some studies suggesting a correlation, but at the moment I am not able to retrieve anything of value to us. It is said though, that if you have celiac disease and eat foods with gluten, your immune system responds by damaging the small intestine. Hopefully I will be able to pull up some literature for you.

    Hi, I have IBS and now ulcerated colitis but no CC. Teddy who had teh CC was never sick in his life! Of course I did not have these things when I was younger, but the only thing we know about CC is we know not much. I also had a GIST (Gist Intestinal Stromal Tumor) removed 2 years ago, it is another very rare Cancer but nothing is related. I laugh as #1 my parents lived in to their 90’s and were never sick and #2 These are supposed to be my Golden Years however, they are just slightly tarnished! So, I get out the polish and try to brighten them up again! :D
    P.S. I know a few people with Celiac but none with Cancer from Celiac.

    Does any one else also have these? Just wondering if maybe these could have had anything to do with the bile duct cancer.
