I have been thinking about you and Charlie for days-ever since you said you were going for the MRI. I am so sorry they found a spot. But you are in good hands and I will keep you in my prayers. Please keep us updated.Kris
Charlie went to Chapel Hill last week for his 3 month post surgery MRI. We found out this week that it showed small tumor in his liver. Not what we wanted to hear. Sometimes we feel like he just can’t catch a break with this doggone cancer. Dr. Sanoff suggested radio frequency ablation (RFA). Kris, Dr. Sanoff said Hey. Charlie’s going to have this done at Baptist here in Winston-Salem to be closer to home. He’s had great care there with his radiation and chemo after resection. So that’s where we are right now. Will start RFA in the next week or 2. We won’t be set back by this…just keep going, praying, fighting. Best wishes to all who are fighting!
