Well, steroids can help with the energy….but be warned I have become a hairy beast from them. Sticky mouth…I sucked on hard candy. But i had taste issues so I could not have anything sour, too sweet, or too strong. I dont know what to recommend in the US because I had Swedish candy, but I am sure you can find something.

Dont know about California doctors, but hold tight someone will come along and answer.

    Best of luck.

    Hi everyone,
My mom is undergoing her 1st round of chemo, she is on her first rest week. She asked if I would ask these questions.

    1. She has no energy and gets tired just walking to the bathroom or standing up. She was wondering if anyone knew of anything she could take to give her more energy?

    2. She also has a “sticky mouth” always thirsty and the taste of water makes her vomit. She is very thirsty, but nothing quenches her thirst.

Does anyone have any advice? She is starting to sound really depressed. She still has 2 more rounds of chemo left. I don’t think she will make it if she can’t get semi comfortable.

Also does anyone know of any great CC Doctors/specialists in California? we are trying to get her out here (Ca) but we need to find a specialist. I have heard that UCLA is great for liver cancer patients(my mom now has tumors in her liver and needs a re sectioning), but not sure about cc patients??

    Thank you! Elicia
