Ya I guess that will be my next question to my doc. If next scan shows shrinkage why would we stop at ,8 cycles? Blood work is all fine and dandy as well…
Goodday all. I have a question. So I’m on my 5th cycle of gem via. Last scan showed 3cm shrinkage and next scan is Dec 9th. My onc says 2 more cycles of chemo as 8 is usually the limit for people. I thought I’ve read people being on chemo much longer. So her plan is 2 more cycles and then maybe start some liver targeted therapies. My question is, and I know everyone and every case is different but is 8 usually the number of cycles on average?
