I have to say that when I first met Marion in Boston it was an amazing connection, I felt like I had known her forever. Then I met Stacie in Orlando last year and again, another amazing feeling. I recently met Karen in Philadelphia and it was wonderful – all of us had a connection that is apparent from the first introduction, it is hard to explain it to anyone who is not connected to this site. I hope to meet more and more people on this site. I also, hope to be able to more to help the misson of this foundation move forward and make a difference.
    Love from NH,
    Barbara

That sounds just wonderful. Wish we all could have been there. Have a safe trip Marion.

Oh, how wonderful and I wish I could have been there also. I keep saying that the feeling one gets when meeting a part of the “family” is beyond comprehension. I am so glad you all met. Marion…its in the 90’s here again! Nice and warm. I, who was always very warm, am now cold since the surgery.
    Safe traveling home!

Marion got a frigid welcome at O’Hare Airport the day she arrived but yesterday and today Chicago was quite lovely and I’d like to think it’s all in honor of Marion! Tomorrow Barbara and her mom and I are all meeting for dinner, four ladies out on the town!

Absolutely nothing beats a face to face meeting with someone from our site. I experienced this wonderful feeling of joy when I first met Stacie, Sara, Marianne, and Rick. It continued on with Barbara (from N H), David Windel, Pauline, Lainy, Teddy, Karen, and now, in Chicago, I met Patty, Barbara, and her lovely Mom. This cancer including, the good, the bad, and the awful connects us in a very special way; a way no one really understands unless, one is touched by this cancer and then becomes a member on this site. I really think that more effort should be made in order for us to meet in person.
    Love to all,
    Marion
