This is great news! Thanks so much for sharing it with us all. And it is so good to hear that your dad is doing all of these things that he seems to love and I am sure that he is enjoying them all very much! Your parents trip around Europe sounds like a lot of fun and I am sure that they will love it! I just had a look at Bilcap on CRUK and it says that it is not due to end until July 2014, let’s hope we get some news on this before then.

Oh, Kate that is the best news ever! God Bless! The tour your parents are going to take sounds just wonderful. I am sure that little Grandson of his is the very best perscription to be had. Continued good reports and I wish we had news like this every morning when we get up!
Just thought I would post to let you know that my dad’s six month scan was all clear again. He is 19 months post whipple.
He has been really well, back to swimming and walking miles with his grandson on his back. He and my mum had a weekend of parties to celebrate their 60ths and retirements (although he decided not to retire after all and just work part time!), and the resulting food consumption set him back a little – so he’s being really careful with the creon etc.
My parents set of yesterday for a six week tour of Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France. Should be wonderful. We all feel so incredibly lucky. I’m still keeping a keen eye on the Bilcap trial to hear if they have discovered any benefit from chemo after resection.
